Co-Curricular Activities At RANGOLI International School

Co-curricular activities are the very important part and parcel of educational institutions to develop the students’ personality as well as to strengthen the classroom learning. Co-curricular Activities have wide horizon to cater to the cultural, social, aesthetic development of the child. 

At RIS, there are so many possible co-curricular activities that each student can choose that appeal to him or her personally.  Also, different activities to draw the creativity out from the students, was also conducted. There are, at present two houses at RIS, namely- SAAHAS and SHAKTI. All the students from Std 1 to 8 as well as teachers are divided equally in these houses. House masters and House Captains were chosen. 

Last Saturday, there was Fancy Dress competition for Std 1 & 2 and English Elocution competition for Std 3 to 8. Fancy Dress competition was for as many students who wanted to participate and house-wise first round was conducted and then the final round for the selected students was done. For Elocution competition, topics were given to the students to choose from and preparation time for a week was given. RIS is the best English medium schools in Ahmedabad. 

Apart from the above activities there are various clubs like language club, science club, math club, cultural club at RIS. The aim to form various clubs is to encourage students to explore and know more about the things around us apart from textbooks.
