Rangoli International School organized the very first event under the Grand program “Sarvodaya”. This was purely for the parents and aimed at the involvement of the parents for the better and meaningful development of the students.
This wonderful idea of involving parents for their knowledge enhancement and recreational activity came into the thoughts and it was brainstormed and given a shape which was named as Sarvodaya- The parents empowerment program, where the word itself meant ‘rising together’.
RIS always wanted to keep a transparency between the management and parents, the stake holders of the school. This was a platform given to the parents to come and talk to the management, learn, evolve and have fun. This is again a platform to share their ideas and their talents with us.
Good parenting sessions were conducted by Ms.Trapti Gandhi, Clinical Psychologist and Counselor and Ms.Deepa Nishad. Teenage parenting being a major concern now-a-days, was focused by Ms.Trapti. Parents enjoyed the sessions and showed an active participation. There was an open discussion session also for the parents to interact and to convey their concerns and to ask their doubts related to the proceeding of the school. Parents asked and also suggested their ideas which can help in the improvement of the smooth functioning of the school. The ideas were welcomed and noted eventually.
Happiness of parents and students is the key focus of RIS management. In view of it, many such innovative ideas will keep coming in the journey of RIS and we never know which one will create a history.
